Rubina Jahan, is the Head of Clinical Services of the Mental Health Program at SAJIDA Foundation. She is a clinical psychiatrist and comes with more than nine years of managerial experience in the non-profit sector of mental health in Bangladesh.
Before joining SAJIDA Foundation, Rubina worked with Kaan Pete Roi Suicide Prevention Helpline and BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health. She also taught Psychology in two institutes in Dhaka for more than one year. Rubina is a National Trainer of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and a Master Trainer of mhGAP training. She was awarded by the US Department of State for International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in 2022 for its multi-regional project on Innovation for Mental Health, Self-care and Wellbeing.
