The Forum for Medical Ethics Society’s income in the year 2023-24 was from the following sources:

Subscriptions: Rs. 6,27,277; Membership fees: Rs. 53,348; Income from other sources: Rs. 6,69,424; Interest (including interest on fixed deposits & income tax refund): Rs. 2,10,471; and Donations: Rs. 1,23,250. The amount received by way of Grants was Rs. 2,77,144.

During the year 2023-24, we incurred expenses for services of regular staff, payment of honoraria and printing of the journal. The Forum for Medical Ethics Society spent Rs. 1,71,773 on printing the journal and Rs. 20,74,487 went into the educational and establishment expenses incurred on the object of Trust.

Donations to the Forum for Medical Ethics Society are eligible for 50 per cent tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
