
Dr Manjulika Vaz, is a social scientist at the Health and Humanities Division of the St John’s Research Institute that is the sister organisation of St John’s Medical College, Bengaluru. The Health and Humanities Division started in 2011 and she has been there for the past 8 years. She sees her role as bridging the divide between science and society, between medical education and the humanities and in widening our understanding the human condition from multiple perspectives. She has over 20 years of experience working with Non-Governmental organisations. Her publications span areas of bioethics, public engagement, medical education and public health.
