Dr Mala Ramanathan, Dr. Mala Ramanathan is faculty at the Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies, SCTIMST. She is a trained statistician-demographer and a medical anthropologist. She teaches on the MPH programme at AMCHSS and also in other institutions across India. She was an Ethics Fellow at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in 2002-04 and since then has been part of the bioethics movement within the country. She is one of the Working Editors of the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics, a leading Bioethics journal published from India. She was also the Member Secretary of the Institutional Ethics Committee of the SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram from May 2014-Dec 2020.
