Dr Amar Jesani, Dr Amar Jesani, Editor of Indian Journal of Medical Ethics: He is an independent researcher and teacher in bioethics and public health. He is the co-founder of the Forum for Medical Ethics Society and its journal, Indian Journal of Medical Ethics (www.ijme.in), published since 1993, and presently its editor. He is a Visiting Faculty at the Centre for Ethics, Yenepoya University, Mangalore (since 2011), the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Culture, Karachi (since 2010) and Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), Nairobi (since 2017). He is a Member of the Institutional Review Board of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and International Ethics Review Board of the Medicine Sans Frontiers (MSF).
