Pay-by-meter autorickshaws: The most commonly and easily available mode of transportation from railway stations and bus-stands is an autorickshaw. Meter charges go up by 25% between 12 midnight and 6 am.
Radio taxis can be contacted through central call centres which assign the customer a taxi if it is available; taxis must be booked at least 20 minutes in advance. All radio taxis have GPS fitted and most are equipped with air-conditioning. Radio taxis charge according to a fixed rate for the distance travelled.
