The patient with AIDS
Abstract:
In the first issue of our newsletter we had referred to the ethical aspects involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). We alluded to the insistence in some hospitals on subjecting every patient to tests for the presence of Human Immune-deficiency Virus (HIV) I and II.
