Sheth, inaugurating the seminar, stated that in addition to the common problems in medical ethics we need to discuss the current practice of borrowing huge sums from banks to purchase expensive equipment (such as computerised tomography and magnetic resonance scanners) and then indulge in such acts as sharing fees to recoup investment and make a profit.
