Since 2021, I’ve carried a flame,
A public health vision — more than just a name.
Not only data, not only a role,
But healing that reaches heart and soul.
Between hospital walls and hills afar,
I saw hope, in fearful eyes, that never died.
Through hidden sorrows and silent scars,
I found truth on tongues that were once denied.
Though faith bridged research and art,
Though love united science and the human heart.
Still trust the balm that gently starts,
Still trust the healing shaped by art.
On World Cancer Day, I chose to rise,
To lift the souls that daily cry.
Pursuit fulfilled — a quiet win,
As divine intervention stirred within.
