Financial Report for 2014-15

The income of the Forum for Medical Ethics Society in the year 20014-15 was from the following sources:

Subscriptions: Rs. 2, 08,702; Sale of Membership Fee: Rs. 7,700, Bank Interest (including fixed deposit interest) Rs. 50,808, and Rs. 5, 28, 001 received from donation. The amount received from the NBC 5 is Rs. 3, 25,074

In the year 2014-15, we incurred expenses for the services of regular staff, payment of honoraria and printing of journal. The Forum for Medical Ethics Society spent Rs.2, 21,534 on printing and posting journal and Rs. 5, 59,376 on honoraria Approximately Rs. 5, 94,763 went into establishment and other expenses including website & Workshop expenses.

Donations to the Forum for Medical Ethics Society are eligible for 50 per cent tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
