Polio eradication and ethical issues

Abstract:
Yash Paul's paper raises several technical questions about polio eradication. The ethical issues are implicit, but must be made explicit. Although disease control decisions are based on epidemiologic and economic considerations, any intervention involving people has ethical implications.
