Observational research where it is most needed

Sujit D Rathod
Abstract:

The rationale for this study was the identification of prognostic factors among women with cervical dysplasia. It was conducted in a south Asian country in the 1970s. Given the unknowns with regard to cervical dysplasia and development of carcinoma at the time, and the lack of consensus about which types of dysplasia would progress and become cancerous it was appropriate to observe the natural history of dysplasia.
